Hatfields can handle any of your custom 1911 needs. We offer everything from simple reliability packages to full custom builds/rebuilds.
Some of the more common services we offer on 1911s are as follows:
We do not charge flat rates, we charge by the hour. Average costs are listed below, these are not estimates or guarantees, just averages.
* Reliability Package $150
Includes: internal debur, ramping/throating if necessary,
extractor and ejector tuning, etc. Price does not include
any replaced parts.
* Cut Novak Style Sight Dovetails (does not include sights)
Front: $75
Rear: $150
* Trigger Job $250-350
The price of components varies greatly. Using our
preferred parts, the average price listed above
will include necessary replacement parts: trigger, sear,
hammer, hammer spring, sear spring, disconnector, and
pins. We do not require you use parts purchased from us, but
we do require that you use new parts for most trigger jobs.
* Complete Combat Rebuilds $700+
Complete rebuild on customer supplied gun includes: re-fit
frame to slide, new extractor and ejector, new barrel bushing,
new slide stop, reliability package, and trigger job.
* "Hatfield Cuts" $80
A low-snag way to get a good grip on the front strap of your
1911. These cuts are shown on the 1911 pictured above.
Does not include refinish if necessary.
* "At-Ready Cut" $65
An actual place to rest your finger when not on the trigger. As
shown above on the front of the trigger guard. Does not
include refinish if necessary.
* Porting $160+
Includes window in slide and ports in barrel.
* Install Beavertail Grip Safety $150
Includes grinding of frame to fit Smith & Alexander or Ed
Brown beavertails and fitting to trigger system. Does not
include cost of safety or refinish.
* Install Thumb Safety $35+
Includes fitting of safety to trigger system. Does not include
cost of thumb safety.
